Starting from the middle Ages, Uzbekistan emerged as a pivotal hub along the Silk Road, an ancient trade route that fostered remarkable art and architectural legacies. Against the backdrop of awe-inspiring structures, this country embodies a rich tradition of craftsmanship spanning generations, encompassing skills from weaving to embroidery, pottery to papermaking.

Our tour intricately weaves the narrative of Uzbekistan’s most significant traditions of trade and cultural exchange. Breathe taking deserts, mountains, and immersing within historical cities, we invite you to join us on the silk rode odyssey for 12 days.

Meeting on arrival assistance and transfer to Hotel

Afternoon visit Fine Arts Museum where we can see the finest textiles of Uzbekistan Overnight

Day 02: APRAIL 10 Tashkent/Fergana –

Early tea and coffee at Hotel

06:30 - Transfer to domestic airport for 08:00 - Flight HY 81 to Fergana

08:50 - On arrival transfer to hotel to leave the baggage (check in at 14:00)

11:00 - Excursion to Andijan visit the private production of cotton material in rough and finest material

Later visit Museum which has many varieties of local silk and cotton fabric. We shall make visit of Hunarmand Artisans home – meet the local artisans and weavers. Also shall visit the metal chasers and meet the master of knife making.

Return in the late afternoon .check in overnight

Day 03: APRAIL 11   Ferghana

09:00 - morning visit Margilan to see Yodgarlik Silk factory with

Its production of Adras, Khan

Atlas and Shokhi Silk fabric production by traditional methods.

Here we shall see cocoon to fabric process – cocoon thread separation, spindling, dyeing of thread, later visit the looms section and see production of various fabrics. Also see the Golden Thread embroidery. Later visit Syed Ishan Hoja madrassah to see masters at work – see silk being produced with different designs, carpet making and cloth stamping with traditional designs

Afterwards visit Rishton to see pottery production by traditional methods. We shall Visit a master potter and the house of local silk weaver and skull cap makers Return in the late afternoon .Overnight

Day 04: APRAIL 12 Ferghana/Tashkent – by road (300 kms or 04hrs 50min)

09:00 - Road journey to Tashkent and 14:00 - On arrival transfer to Hotel

Afternoon visit Akbar’s House of a master potter who has given new impetus to local pottery by picking centuries old styles and new designs .Overnight

Day 05: APRAIL 13 Tashkent/Samarkand – Train – 0859/1107 hrs.

08:59 – Fast train Afrosiyob to Samarkand 11:07 - arrival and transfer to Hotel

14:00 - later excursion to Urgut Sunday market– we shall visit the house of old carpet and embroidery collector and Shall see the local woman doing suzzanne embroidery later return in late afternoon and shall visit Shahi Zinda necropolis .Overnight 

Day 06: APRAIL 14 Samarkand

09:00 Full day sightseeing tour of Samarkand visit Famous Registan Square – see the three beautiful Madrasahs, Bibi Khanum mosque and Shahi Zinda necropolis of the Royals of Tamerlane’s house afternoon visit local carpet makers and the paper makers. Later visit Afrosiab Museum and Ulugbek’s Observatory Overnight

Day 07: APRAIL 15 Samarkand/Bukhara – by road (278 kms or 04hrs 15min)

09:00 morning excursion to Charakchi – visit the local gillim makers house – see the looms and

House ladies making gillims. Later we shall proceed to Jum bazar and see the locally produced

Day 08: APRAIL 16 Bukhara

09:00 Full day excursion to Gijduvan – we shall visit the house factory of master Alisher where we

Can see all processes of traditional pottery making later we shall see the local embroidery of the village

On return to Bukhara we shall visit to Sitori-i-Mokhikhosa, the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara – see the last emir’s collection of gifts, Chinese porcelain, the Russian cut Glass and Crystal vases. The most interesting and rich collection is of local Suzani Embroidery from the countryside

Day 09: APRAIL 17 Bukhara

09:00 full day visit of Bukhara – known for silk weaving and golden embroidery

We shall visit a Golden Embroidery Centre later see metal chasers, the wood carvers

And local puppet makers

We shall visit Poi Kalon minaret and mosque, madrasahs Aziz Khan and Ulugbek later visit Taq-i- Sarafon – the hat seller’s street. The Lyabikhauz and see the artisans at work in Nadirkhon Devanbegi’s madrassah

Today we shall have our dinner (optionally) at an old Jewish merchant house now called Akbar’s

House where the owner has collection of old Bukharan textiles and needle point embroidery overnight

Day 10:  APRAIL 18 TH Bukhara/Khiva – by road (450 kms or 06hrs 45min)

09:00 Morning depart for Khiva via Kizilkum 16:15 Arrive and transfer to Hotel

18:00 Short walking tour of the walled city.  Overnight

Day 11:  APRAIL 19TH Khiva/Urgench by road (37 km or 50 min.) Urgench/ Tashkent – Flt HY57 2025/2155

09:00 full day sightseeing tour of Khiva – the famous walled

City of Central Asia is a living

Museum and an important Heritage site.

Today we shall visit the Hunarmand workshops for the development of local handicrafts.

Here we shall visit the tie and dye process and coloring of thread used for carpet

making see the local carpet making. See the wood carvers at work with traditional designs making small tables to huge doors carving on ‘karagach’ wood

18:00 - depart from Khiva to Urgench International Airport for 20:25 - Flight HY57 to Tashkent.

21:55 - Arrival and transfer to hotel   overnight.

Day 12: APRAIL 20 Tashkent/Depart – Flt

Transfer to the airport for Flight to your destination.
